Welcome to the ministry of SWIRL. You might be reading this from the "outside" of First Baptist Church of Tomball. If you have not already, we would love to have you join us on the "inside" of the youth ministry at FBCT.
S.W.I.R.L. gives our youth ministry purpose, direction, and passion.
S = STUDY -- It's vital that we study God's Word. We want to increase our knowledge of God so we can walk straighter in our Christian walk and be prepared to respond to God.
W = WIN -- We are into winning youth over to the salvation through Jesus Christ. God won when His Son died on the cross. All we have to do is join His team and participate in the victory.
I = IMPROVE -- You will find many opportunities to serve. We want to improve the outside and inside of churches, homes, and lives of those inside and outside the city limits of Tomball.
R = REACH -- First Baptist Church wants to reach out to the youth in the Tomball and the surrounding areas through a wide variety of ministries geared toward youth. The outcome of each ministry is to equip youth to reach out to other youth. Their reaching out is a ministry within itself.
L = LAUGH -- God has given all of us a giggle box and it's a shame that we don't use it more. We love to fellowship in the FBCT Youth Ministry and each fellowship is designed to make us laugh with each other and sometimes at each other (in a good and positive way).
When you are studying, winning, improving, reaching, and laughing you will be caught in the middle of Worship! Our youth are passionate in worshipping with their vocal chords. But they really enjoy worshipping when they love God and are loved by God, from the inside out, through S.W.I.R.L.
There is not a greater feeling than being on the "inside" of God's purpose for your life. When the difficulties of life come, you can find yourself on the "outside" of His purpose. We want to whirl your heart inward toward the purpose God has for you.
Come on in to the youth ministry at FBCT. The more inward you go, the closer you will be drawn to God and to each other.
