MAIN THING This Wednesday night at 6:30 I will be helping the kids out with “It Takes Patience To Wait”. As parents we tend to over look that area with our teenagers in the waiting compartment. We usually don’t think they actually wait for God to answer a prayer or wait for something they have been anticipating in life. It’s not fun to wait but the Bible is full of people who had to demonstrate patience. My favorite saying is: “God may be slow but He is never late.” (Ouch, I like that one).
WORSHIPTHON This Friday night we have a list of youth who will be participating in the Worshipthon. We start at 11:00pm and end at 7:00am. This is a fundraiser for youth camp. For the past several weeks youth have been finding pledges to worship all night long. It will be considered a lock-in but it’s only for those who are participating in the Worshipthon. The information letter will be handed out tomorrow night at Main Thing.
GO BIBLE STUDY This Sunday is Mom’s Day. When was the last time you had your teenager to bring something home that they made for you? That’s been too long so get ready. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, just something special they made with their little hands. (okay that was childish) It will bring a smile to your face when you hang it on your fridge. So Moms, if you want “something” have your teen at church this Sunday morning at 9:45am.
YOUTH CHOIR No choir this Sunday night so the teens can spend more time with their Moms.
LAST MAIN THING Wednesday night, May16th is our final Main Thing until August.
SUMMER CALENDAR They will be handed out on May 20th.
CHERRY BERRY After Youth Choir on May 20th.
FUGE MEETING May 23rd at 6:30 in the Worship Room. This meeting is very important and everyone going to FUGE will need to be there. The final balance on camp is due on the 23rd.
NOODLE HOCKEY After the Fuge Meeting in the Gym on May 23rd.
SENIOR RECOGNITION May 27th and the grad information letter will be going handed out on May 13th.
SAINTS AND SINNERS May 30th!!!!!! It’s that time to take the youth on in our annual softball game.
We need all the saints (adults) we can get to take on the sinners (youth). The saints are 4-0 against the youth. (but they are getting hungry to beat us)

The Swirl Purpose
"Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out!" Romans 12:2 (The Message)
S - Study = We want to increase our knowledge of God so we can walk straighter in our Christian walk and be prepared to respond to God.
W - Win = We are into winning youth over to the salvation through Jesus Christ. The victory has already been won by Jesus.
I - Improve = We want to improve both the outside and inside of churches, homes, and lives of those inside and outside the Tomball city limits.
R - Reach = The outcome of each ministry is to equip and encourage each youth to reach out to other youth. Their reaching out is a ministry within itself.
L- Laugh = God has given us all a giggle box and it's a shame that we don't use it more. Each fellowship is designed to make us laugh with each other and have fun.
It's our vistion to bring outside youth inward to the very core of God's love and His purpose for their life. We love to see youth swirl inward and expreince God and then swirl back out to be used for Him.
